Mainline Excavator Operator

Wage: $37 per hour

Full-time position: 50 hours per week

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Reports to Foreman

PSC Construction is seeking full-time Excavator Operators to install sanitary, storm, & water piping on heavy industrial and private projects.

Job Description:

  • Operators to dig for installation of sanitary, storm, & water piping on heavy industrial and private projects
    • Establish and maintain grade by using laser levels and pipe lasers
    • Excavate and install utilities such as water, sanitary, and storm sewers
    • Work closely with Pipe Layers and direct completion of the installation
    • Reads understand and explain blueprints on the job site

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Background and drug screening
  • 3 years’ experience in utility instillation
  • Ability to read stakes, set up lasers, and understand the percent of slope
  • Experienced in using trench boxes
  • Good communication skills
